From M1 Motorway, North

Junction 16, signed Northampton A 45
At roundabout turn left, signed Northampton A45
Dual carriageway for 1.8 miles
At roundabout turn right, signed Kislingbury/Bugbrooke
1nto Kislingbury village, Past traffic calming restriction
At junction on right hand bend take turning signed Rothersthorpe/Milton Malsor (ie straight ahead)
After 1.8 miles at crossroads in Rothersthorpe go straight on, signed Milton Malsor/Blisworth
Stay on road for 1.8 miles, over two canal bridges, Marina on left in 300m.

From M1 Motorway, North, Distance 3 miles

Junction 15A, signed Northampton A43
At roundabout turn left towards Northampton for 1.1miles, at roundabout take 1st exit (Upton Valley Way East) signed Rothersthorpe/Pineham, take left filter at traffic lights (Banbury Lane) signed Rothersthorpe/Pattishall continue for 1.4 miles to Rothersthorpe, at crossroads turn left, signed Milton Malsor/Rothersthorpe, after going over the 2nd canal bridge the marina is 300m on the left.

From M1 Motorway, South, Distance 3 miles

Junction 15A, signed Northampton A43
At roundabout turn left towards Northampton  (under motorway bridge) straight over next roundabout for 1.1 miles at the next roundabout take 1st exit (Upton Valley Way East) signed Rothersthorpe/Pineham, take left filter at traffic lights (Banbury Lane) signed Rothersthorpe/Pattishall continue for 1.4 miles to Rothersthorpe, at crossroads turn left, signed Milton Malsor/Rothersthorpe, after going over 2nd canal bridge the marina is 300m on left.

From M1 Motorway, South

Junction 15, signed Northampton A508
At roundabout turn right, signed Northampton A508
Take next left turn, past Hilton Hotel, signed Collingtree/Milton Malsor, (Watering Lane)
Through Collingtree village, follow signs to Milton Malsor
After 1.3 miles at church, turn left into Barn Lane, signed Rothersthorpe/Gayton/Towcester
Follow road to right, Rectory Lane
After 0.4 mile at junction turn right, then immediately left into Gayton Road, signed Rothersthorpe/Gayton
At next ‘T’ junction, turn left, signed Blisworth Arm/Gayton
Over canal bridge, Marina on left in 300m.

From A45/A43, East

Take ring road exit signed Coventry/Oxford A45/A43
At roundabout take the fourth exit, signed Coventry/Oxford A43
At next roundabout, (Tesco’s) take the second exit, signed East Hunsbury/Milton Malsor
Stay on road (approx 2 miles) into Milton Malsor village, past Greyhound public house and take the only right turn, signed Rothersthorpe/Gayton.
At next ‘T’ junction, turn left, signed Blisworth Arm/Gayton
Over canal bridge, Marina on left in 300m.

From A5/A43, South

From Towcester roundabout at junction of A5 and A43
Take exit signed, Northampton A43/M1 Motorway
Ignore first sign on left to Tiffield/Gayton
After 2.5 miles take right feeder, signed Blisworth/Milton Malsor
Blisworth village has been extensively traffic calmed
At first junction after 1 mile, turn right, at first traffic calming turn left
At 2nd road calming bear 1st left into ‘Northampton Road’
(by thatched cottage) signed Northampton 5 miles
Continue on road (approx 1.3 miles) until you enter Milton Malsor village
Turn left, signed Rothersthorpe/Gayton
At next ‘T’ Junction, turn left, signed Blisworth Arm/Gayton
Over canal bridge, Marina on left in 300m.


By Rail
Take the train to Northampton station and then a taxi to the boatyard (about 5 miles). Cost for a taxi for up to four persons is about £5. You can plan your rail journey on this website www.thetrainline.com
